PRP Writes UN Over Rivers Political Crisis, Criticises Tinubu, Fubara

The People’s Redemption Party in Rivers State says it has formally written to the United Nations, calling for international attention to the ongoing political crisis in the state.

State chairman of the party, Nature Dumale Kieghe, said the decision followed what he described as dissatisfaction with the interventions so far made by Bola Tinubu.

According to Kieghe, rather than stabilising the situation, the measures introduced have slowed governance and negatively affected the daily lives of residents across the state.

He also accused the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara of using the political crisis as a shield against accountability, alleging that several ongoing projects in the state fail to address the most urgent needs of the people.
