President Nana Akufo pledges to boost Ghanaian economy.

President AKUFO-ADDO gave the assurance in a face of bleak economic indicators after he assumed office following his victory over former President JOHN MAHAMA last December.

His assurance comes amid GDP growth rate in 2016 at three point six percent, which is reported to be at the lowest in twenty-three years.

In a state address monitored on Twitter by a pro-democracy group, the Ghanaian leader said the reality of the state is quite stark, but assured that the government would create the atmosphere to generate jobs.
