The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, confirmed the appointment in a statement obtained by our correspondent.
Other appointments announced by ADESINA include ABBA KYARI who is now the Chief of Staff, while retired Colonel HAMEED IBRAHIM ALI is to take charge of the Nigerian Customs Service as the Comptroller-General.
Also, the President appointed KURE MARTIN ABESHI as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service.
The document also noted that Senator ITA S.J. ENANG is the new Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters for the Senate.
Also, the statement revealed that SULEIMAN A. KAWU is now the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters for House of Representatives.
The new Secretary to the State Government of the Federation, who hails from Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1979 with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
The statement added that LAWAL worked with the Delta Steel Company, Aladja, Delta State, the Nigerian External Telecommunications Limited and Data Sciences Limited before establishing his own Information Communication Technology consulting firm in 1990.
