The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President Femi Adesina, said his principal in approving the release of the fund chose to ignore the combative, truculent, if not at times insulting disposition of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
In a piece published on his website and entitled, ‘Wike Vindicates Buharists’, Adesina described the recent action of Governor Wike as “completely different direction compared to what he had always said of President Buhari.
Adesina recalled how Governor Wike has opposed a planned visit of President Buhari to Rivers state in 2018 but is now requesting for a state visit from the President.
He said the action of Governor Wike has shown that Buhari believes in fairness and is indeed the president of the whole federation.
