This was made known in a series of tweets on the President’s official Twitter handle @Mbuhari, which was monitored by our Abuja correspondent, JAMES IGAH.
According to the Twitter messages, President BUHARI underscored the achievement of his administration in combating Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East.
The President said the same level of determination would be applied in the ongoing battle against Niger Delta militants that have been targeting oil and gas installations, thereby sabotaging the nation’s economy.
He admitted that Nigerians were facing difficult times on the economic front, but assured that his government was doing its best to improve on the wellbeing of all Nigerians.
The President maintained that job creation for unemployed youth remains a special concern for his administration, adding that the Vice President, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO was leading efforts in that direction.
President BUHARI also used the occasion to wish all Nigerians a joyous Eid-El-Kabir celebration, as he promised that his government would continue to work to make Nigeria a great nation.
