Correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that the letter from President BUHARI accompanying the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper was read by the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI.
In a letter to the Senate; President BUHARI noted that the submission of the MTEF and FSP was in line with the provision of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2007, which provides for annual rolling three year-expenditure plans.
In case you do not know; the MTEF together with the Fiscal Strategy Paper provides the basis for annual budget planning.
