Premier League clubs have shattered the all-time spending record in a single transfer window, with total outlay on new signings reaching £2.37 billion this summer.
As of Thursday, the figure has already surpassed the previous record of £2.36 billion set in the summer of 2023.
Six clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal, have broken their individual transfer records during this window, driving the unprecedented level of expenditure.
With nine days left before the window closes, spending is expected to rise even further, setting an even bigger milestone in Premier League history.
