The suspects include one CHIJOKE ONWUACHU MODESTUS who is a level 300 student of Computer Science at the Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State.
Force Public Relations Officer, JIMOH MOSHOOD, said CHIJOKE ONWUACHU was arrested in Umuahia and confessed to have collected money from candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
Twenty-year-old SAMUEL ODINAKA ONWURAH was also arrested at Kutunku extension layout in Gwagwalada area of Abuja through examination scam.
Others are PATRICK UCHECHUKWU NWODO who was picked up at Abakpa Nike in Enugu; while OKON EFFIONG JOSEPH of Public Health Department at University of Calabar, was arrested in Calabar.
The Force spokesman said the suspects would be charged to court on completion of investigation, while efforts have been intensified to arrest other operators of illegal and rogue websites.
JIMOH MOSHOOD advised parents and guardians to prevail on their children and wards not to patronize rogues’ websites for examination purposes.
