The three-man panel of the Appeal Court presided over by Justice HANNAH SANKEY reserved ruling after listening to arguments from counsel to the factional chairmen.
Counsel to Senator MAKARFI informed the court of an application for extension of time to appeal the judgment of Justice OKON ABANG of the Federal High Court Abuja, which recognized Senator ALI MODU SHERIFF as PDP National Chairman.
But lawyers to Senator SHERIFF opposed the application on the ground that it was incompetent, adding that the applicants were not parties in the original suit at the lower court.
After listening to all the parties, Justice SANKEY announced that the reserved date for the ruling would be communicated to all ?the parties.
