The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has concluded its meeting with a resolution to hold the party’s national elective convention on November 15 and 16, 2025. The convention will take place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
During the meeting, which was held in Abuja on Thursday, the PDP NEC reassured party members and Nigerians that the PDP remains a strong, united, and cohesive political force. The party emphasized its stability and readiness to play its role as the leading opposition party, committed to mobilizing efforts aimed at rescuing Nigeria from what it described as the catastrophic misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
