State Chairman of the PDP, FELIX OBUAH alleged that fresh moves are being made in certain quarters on the cancelled legislative re-run election in Tai Local Government Area.
He said the alleged subterranean moves are being done in favour of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to a statement released by his media assistant, FELIX OBUAH said the PDP’s petition is addressed to the National Chairman of INEC, Professor MAHMOUD YAKUBU.
OBUAH said the Rivers PDP wants INEC to note that there was no election in Tai Local Government Area, warning that any attempt to alter the proceedings in favour of APC would have severe consequences.
