The Prelate and Moderator of the General Assembly of PCN, Most Reverend Professor EMELE UKA said late Elder MADUEKWE served the nation meritoriously in many capacities and made his mark as an upright politician.
Professor UKA noted that throughout the many years of Elder MADUEKWE’s career, no allegation or indictment of corruption was ever associated with him in a nation riddled with unprecedented corrupt allegations and practices.
The Prelate prayed God for the repose of the soul of the departed statesman, as well as for divine comfort for the family he left behind, the Church and the entire nation.
The message of the PCN leadership was contained in a statement signed by the Church’s Director of Information and Public Affairs, Rev KALU EME.
