Oyigbo Council Chairman Appoints New Political Aides, Charges Them to Work for Development

The Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government Area, Okechukwu Akara Nwaogu, has appointed new political aides to help oversee the affairs of the council.

Speaking during their inauguration at the council secretariat in Oyigbo, Nwaogu urged the appointees to work as a team and support his administration’s efforts to improve the lives of residents across the local government area.

He emphasized the importance of unity, dedication, and accountability in driving meaningful progress at the grassroots level.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the Secretary to the Local Government, Tample Nwankwo, pledged that they would carry out their duties diligently and with a strong sense of responsibility.

Our correspondent reports that those appointed include Hamilton Nwaeke as Chief of Staff, Evans Nwankwo as Deputy Chief of Staff, and Ikechi David as Chief Press Secretary, among others.
