The new governor was sworn in by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye at exactly 12:53 pm yesterday amid cheers from the mammoth crowd present.
While taking his oath of office, Oyebanji pledged to preserve, protect and defend as well as preserve the office as governor.
Delivering his inaugural speech after his swearing in as governor, Oyebanji promised to make Ekiti state a land of prosperity.
