LIVINGSTON NWECHIE of Integrity Group insist that the action by the group calling to question the motive of the President of the Court of Appeal in setting up a special panel to hear the bail motion of the accused person is the best thing to do.
NWECHIE, who was speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, said the civil society group decided to raise alarm to draw public attention to the development because the exigency of time.
However; the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State is contending that recent developments in the state judiciary and comments by some persons either working for the state government or affiliated to the ruling PDP made it necessary for the accused person to request for a fresh appeal court panel.
Rivers APC Chairman, Chief DAVIES IBIAMU-IKANYA who also spoke on Channels Television also called to question the reputation of the persons who are raising a petition against the President of the Court of Appeal.
