President of the organization in Rivers State, Lucky Ekeji, explained in an interview with newsmen that this advice follows a directive from the national body of the organization.
Ekeji stated that the advice aims to protect the lives and properties of Igbos in Rivers State and Nigeria at large.
He noted that the current political tension in Rivers State is not conducive for such a protest and urged Igbos to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu, hoping for positive change, as he emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety and unity during these times of political uncertainty.
