South-South Vice Chairman of the union MUHAMED GIWA made the appeal in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt.
He said the call became necessary following the demolition of the some buildings which were initially not part of the areas marked for demolition by the government, adding the owners of such building have been rendered homeless.
The union leader however called on his people in Onne community to remain peaceful while the Rivers State Government looks into the appeal.
