NSCIA Denies Allegations of Christian Genocide in Nigeria

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has rejected claims of a Christian genocide in Nigeria, describing them as false, dangerous, and politically motivated.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday, the Council’s Secretary-General, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said the allegations being circulated by some Western media outlets and political figures are part of a coordinated campaign to destabilize the country.

Prof. Oloyede emphasized that the violence in certain parts of Nigeria is fueled by criminality, poverty, and climate-induced migration, rather than religious persecution.
