The Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN said the raids at Afiagbene were carried out by troops of Four Brigade of the Nigerian Army in collaboration with men of the Nigerian Navy.
The Army spokesman said the operation was part of ongoing field training exercise code-named “Operation Crocodile Smile.’’
Colonel USMAN said no one was found in the camps but troops recovered two locally made guns and some live cartridges among other items.
