This was the highpoint of a public event to mark the birthday of foremost Ijaw leader, Chief EDWIN CLARK, which held in Abuja.
Addressing the gathering, retired Major-General IKE NWACHUKWU express the hope that most of Nigeria’s problems would be settled if at least ninety percent of the recommendations of the national conference are implemented.
Also speaking; former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong VICTOR ATTAH said there also a need to look at the structure of the federation.
The Secretary of the 2014 National Conference, VALARIE AZINGE also took turn to highlight the important elements of the conference and the recommendations.
Former President GOODLUCK JONATHAAN also touched on the 2014 National Conference report when he addressed an audience at the fiftieth anniversary lecture organized by the Rivers State Government in Port Harcourt.
