PETTY was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges after he was arraigned before Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The charges were however dropped after he appeared in court.
PETTY moved to California in July 2019 but did not register as a sex offender within five working days of moving.
He got the sex offender status at the age of sixteen, after he was accused in 1995 of first-degree attempted rape.
