This was reportedly made known by NFF President, AMAJU PINNICK, when he paid a thank-you visit to Governor NYESOM WIKE.
Speaking at the Government House in Port Harcourt, PINNICK thanked Governor WIKE for providing the foundation for the qualification of Super Eagles.
He also used the occasion to invite Governor WIKE to be among the Nigerian delegation to the World Cup in Russia next year.
In his response; Governor WIKE advised the leadership of the NFF to intensify preparations for the World Cup, stressing that Nigerians will not accept failure at the competition.
