Morocco likley to resume seat in African Union after thirty two years of absence.

The BBC quoted an unnamed diplomatic source confirming that Morocco is likely to announce its decision to return to the African Union at this weekend’s summit in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.

Morocco left the regional body in 1984 when it was still known as Organisation of African Unity after OAU recognized the independence of Western Sahara.
