Man nabbed for allegedly swindling Rivers job seekers

RSU Registrar Sydney Enyindah disclosed this in a statement.

He said the institution concluded its hiring procedures with the approval of the state government last year.

He warned members of the public to be wary of people like Philip Oghogho who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Oghogh, who is alleged to be a member of a fake job syndicate, was arrested by the Internal Security Unit of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital for allegedly defrauding some victims of two hundred thousand and four hundred thousand naira respectively.

The National Coordinator of the Centre for Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign, Prince Wiro said the suspect was arrested following months of investigation.

One of the victims, Otavaino Stephens, told Today FM that he and some of his friends paid the suspect some money for employment and demanded that their money be refunded
