Enyeoha, in a petitioned to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka, said the alleged defilement of the child was reported at the Obite Police station sometime in August, after which he carried out medical test on the victim, as directed by the police.
The Obuogu indigene,in an interview with Today FM correspondent, called for the transfer of the case file to the appropriate police unit in Port Harcourt for proper investigation and accused the police at Obite of trying to sweep the matter under the carpet.
Enyeoha also called on the Commissioner of Police and Human Rights groups to intervene to ensure that justice prevails in the matter.
