The state Chairman of the Labour Party, FAVOUR FELIX said the move by INEC is a plan to mortgage the nascent democracy of Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview with correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA, the Labour Party Chairman said none of the Parties involved in the election was aware of the said investigation that informed INEC's decision. He called on the security agencies and the general public to prevail on the electoral body to halt the planned action. The Independent National Electoral Commission adopted the results of the rerun elections in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State on 19th March during a stakeholders meeting held in Port Harcourt.
