Kwara United players have been granted a 10-day break by the club’s management following their victory in the President Federation Cup final over Abakaliki FC.
The Harmony Boys secured the trophy after defeating Abakaliki FC 4-3 on penalties, following a 0-0 draw in regulation time in the final held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, last Saturday.
The players and their officials are expected to return to camp on Thursday, 11 July, to commence preparations for the upcoming season. The club’s management expressed their satisfaction with the team’s performance and wished the players a well-deserved rest before regrouping for the new campaign.
