Kenya begins clampdown on Politicians for hate speech.

Those arrested include a parliamentarian, MOSES KURIA, who allegedly threatened those who did not vote for President UHURU KENYATTA in the annulled election on 8th August.

 

In a Facebook post in reaction to the Supreme Court judgment, KURIA said there would be a manhunt for people who voted for the opposition candidate, who he called “that demon”.

 

Police also arrested an opposition politicians identified as JOHNSON MUTHAMA for allegedly making hateful remarks during a political rally over the weekend.
