The former Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, ABDULMUMINI JIBRIN is now accusing the Speaker, YAKUBU DOGARA of attempting to bribe lawmakers in the House.
JIBRIN claims DOGARA bribed members with twenty-five thousand dollars to sign a vote of confidence in his favour.
He alleged that the Speaker and three other principal officers opened a confidence vote register in a desperate move to cover up the budget padding scandal.
The embattled former Appropriation Committee Chairman further alleged that confidence vote scam is being coordinated by two members of the House and a senior aide to the speaker.
ABDULMUMINI JIBRIN is also questioning YAKUBU DOGARA’s silence over his allegation on the 2016 Budget.
