MOKOKO, who has been in detention since mid June after the presidential election, for what was termed as provoking state security and illegal possession of weapons, has been issued with the directive to appear in court.
It is alleged that he caused civil disorder just after losing the election to President SASSOU NGUESSO in the first round of the March 20 election.
There had been calls from a section of the opposition for a presidential pardon to the former military head but it seems that appeal has gone unheeded.
