Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City in a deal worth £20 million.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Championship club, becoming the latest addition to manager Gary O’Neil’s squad ahead of the new season.
Fatawu joins Ipswich after scoring 16 goals in 100 appearances for Leicester City since arriving from Sporting CP in 2023.
He becomes the Tractor Boys’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrival of striker Emersonn from Toulouse earlier this month in a club-record deal worth about £26 million.
Ipswich are continuing to strengthen their squad as they prepare for the upcoming campaign under Gary O’Neil.
