The latest protest was mobilized under the banner of the Global Centre for Conscious Living Against Corruption.
Our correspondent reports that the protesters ?converged on the headquarters of the EFCC, displaying placards with various inscriptions, including that one that read “Magu Must Go”.
The spokesman for the group, GABRIEL NWAMBA, said the EFCC under MAGU was facing several cases of human right violation, adding that the anti-graft agency has been working outside its legal mandate.?
NWAMBA demanded the Federal Government to replace MAGU with a more competent person that can help to drive the anti-corruption policy of the Buhari Administration.
The protest comes two weeks after IBRAHIM MAGU led a demonstration in Abuja to raise awareness on the anti-corruption campaign of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
