Group calls on Gov Wike to investigate removal of names of some physically challenged persons whom he offered automatic employment

ESTHER NWAPO, who spoke on behalf of other physically challenged persons, said Governor WIKE had extended the offer of automatic employment to some of their members during a courtesy visit to the Government House.

NWAPO said Governor WIKE had subsequently directed the Head of Service to process the employment letters of the beneficiaries.

The physically challenged woman claimed that when the employment letters were released, it was discovered the names of some of their members were replaced.

Our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA reports that the physically challenged group complained that several attempts to resolve the mix up with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Disabilities and the Commissioner for Social Welfare have failed.
