Governor Wike while signing the agreement in Port Harcourt, said seventy percent of the funds for the project will be paid to the construction company on Monday, to avoid excuses.
The Governor also debunked the narrative that his administration only focuses development in Port Harcourt city, adding that projects are also being carried out in other local governments in the state.
On his part, the Managing Director of Julius Berger PLC Lars Richer promised that the first two flyovers will be completed at the end of 2020 while the third one will be ready in the first quarter of next year.
He also said the fifth flyover will be completed in the next twelve months as contained in the agreement.
