This was made known in a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, SIMEON NWAKUDU.
The affected local government councils include Abua-Odual, Akuku-Toru, Ahoada-East, ANdoni, Bonny, Eleme, Emohua, Etche and Ikwerre.
Others are Obio-Akpor, ONELGA, Okrika, Omuma, Oyigbo, Port Harcourt and Tai Local Government councils.
According to the statement, the dissolution of the caretaker committees takes immediate effect, and the affected chairmen are directed to handover to the most senior officials in their respective councils.
