Reacting to a publication by an online tabloid, Governor WIKE described the claim as a fictional report that attempted without success to cast aspersion on his person.
In a statement signed by his media assistant, Governor WIKE said there was need to set the record straight because of unsuspecting Nigerians who may be misled by what he described as deliberate falsehood.
The Governor said the purported report that also alleged that Justice MARY ODILI of the Supreme Court attempted to bribe fellow justices with five billion naira was patently false, manifestly unpatriotic and a continuation what he described as ugly assault on the judiciary by the publishers and their sponsors.
