Belgian club Genk have reached an agreement with Italian side Pisa for the signing of Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi in a deal reportedly worth €10.5 million, with additional performance-related bonuses.
The agreement also includes a 10 percent sell-on clause for Pisa, making it the most lucrative player sale in the Italian club’s history. Durosinmi joined Pisa from Czech side Viktoria Plzen earlier this year and is now set for a move to the Belgian Pro League.
The Super Eagles forward made 12 league appearances for Pisa, scoring one goal and providing one assist, and is expected to strengthen Genk’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
