Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has backed Carlos Queiroz to remain head coach of the Black Stars following the team’s campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ati-Zigi described the Portuguese tactician as a great coach, praising the positive atmosphere he has created within the national team and expressing hope that the Ghana Football Association retains him when his contract expires.
The goalkeeper said the final decision rests with the Black Stars’ leadership but maintained that keeping Queiroz in charge would be beneficial for the team’s future.
