The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has sworn in a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and a new Chief of Staff as part of efforts to strengthen his administration.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Rivers State Government House, was attended by top government officials, political stakeholders, and supporters.
Governor Fubara charged the newly appointed SSG and Chief of Staff to discharge their duties with integrity, loyalty, and commitment to service, stressing that their roles are critical to the effective coordination and implementation of government policies.
He reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to deliver good governance and accelerate development across the state, urging members of his team to remain focused on the mandate given to them by the people of Rivers State.
