A document credited to the APC Ahaoda-East Local Government Office, which was obtained by our correspondent, indicates that ERIC APIAH is under a six-month suspension.
According to the document signed by the APC Chairman in Ahoada-East, OWUZE UMAH, the State Executive Committee of APC is aware of the suspension of ERIC APIAH.
But a former Chief of Staff at the Local Government Council, ADAMU MOSES told our correspondent FELIX OJOGWU that the document was of no effect, adding that the committee that suspended APIAH was not recognized.
It should interest you to note that ADAMU MOSES is aligned with the group of four faction of the APC Forum of Councillors in Ahoada-East, which supports ERIC APIAH as the leader of the party within the locality.
The same group led by ANTHONY OKORIGWE had recently announced the suspension of four chieftains of APC in Ahoada-East, including former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, CHIBUDOM NWUC
