Former President of the Nigerian Senate, DAVID MARK has denied any link to the Panamanian Law firm at the centre of over eleven million leaked documents on secret tax haven for the rich and powerful people around the world.

 

Senator MARK said his hands are clean and that his lawyers are working on appropriate response to what he described as spurious media reports in which he was alleged to have operated offshore companies.In a statement released by his Media Assistant, PAUL MUMEH, Senator MARK said his name was not mentioned anywhere in the Panama Leaks documents.The Senator from Benue State said his name is not listed anywhere in the database of Mossack Fonseca Law Firm involved in the scandal. Senator MARK said he was not directly or indirectly connected to any of the companies registered, operated or managed by the Mossack Fonseca Law Firm. The Media Assistant challenged those behind what he described as propaganda and media outburst to prove that Senator MARK’s name was mentioned in the leaks.Senator MARK distanced himself and members of his family from the Mossack Fonseca Firm as well as affiliation with any company operated, registered or managed by Mossack Fonseca.
