The Paramount ruler of Ohia-Uga Community in OgbaEgbemaNdoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Bright Abali said the people cannot afford to experience the level of suffering occasioned by the flood.
Eze ABALI who spoke when members of Clans Club International who had visited the Internally Displaced Persons Camp in the area commended the group for the gesture, just as he identified lack of portable drinking water as a major challenge confronting the people.
Speaking earlier, the State Chairman of Clans Club International, Nwachukwu Chukwuka-Joe advised the state government to improve on the sanitation of the IDP camp and also expressed readiness to collaborate with the government in resolving the flood issues.
