The ban comes after FIFA issued a warning last month against the installation of a government-backed president of the Sudanese Football Association.
Following the suspension, three of Sudan’s clubs involved in continental tournaments have been disqualified.
The clubs are Al Hilal and Al Merreikh that are taking part in the CAF Champions League, as well as Al Hilal Obeid in the Confederation Cup.
It therefore means that two Champions League final Group-A matches featuring Hilal and Merreikh will not be played today.
