Federal Government has a clear economic plan and is focused on the implementation -Lai Mohammed

Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED said those who think otherwise have not taken the pains to check out the government’s economic blueprint.

The Information and Culture Minister was speaking at his office in Abuja when he received the Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria, SADANOBU KUSAOKE.

The Minister said efforts are ongoing to check inflation in the economy, provide more jobs, infrastructure, railways and roads, as well as improvement in power supply.

He said all those would help to create the enabling environment for industries to thrive in Nigeria.

In his remarks, according to a statement released by the Minister’s Special Assistant, SEGUN ADEYEMI, the Japanese Ambassador said his country would like to collaborate with the Ministry of Information and Culture through cultural exchange and the film industry.

Ambassador KUSAOKE said he would want Nigerian movies to be shown in Japan and for Japanese films to be shown in Nigeria, as a means to promote intercultural exchange between the two countries.
