FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Pledges Support for Rivers People
Ahoada, Nigeria – The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has pledged to leverage his position to benefit the people of Rivers State. Wike made this commitment Thursday during a year-end thanksgiving event organized by leaders and stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ahoada, covering the East and West local government areas.
During his address, the former governor urged Rivers residents to continue their support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation at both the state and federal levels.
Addressing the ongoing political tensions in Rivers State, Wike reassured his supporters, urging them not to be disheartened but to remain steadfast despite the challenges.
In a show of solidarity, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche, commended Wike for his exemplary leadership in the various public offices he has held, reinforcing the sentiment of continuing support for the FCT minister’s initiatives.
