Falconets captain Joy Igbokwe has expressed confidence ahead of Nigeria’s home clash with Senegal in the 2026 FIFA U‑20 Women’s World Cup qualifying series. Igbokwe said the team is determined to reach the World Cup in Poland and believes Senegal will not derail their ambitions. The Nigerian side previously defeated Rwanda 4‑0 on aggregate, while Senegal overcame Algeria to set up the third qualifying round encounter. Igbokwe also urged fans to turn out in large numbers to support the Falconets at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.
