A recycling expert, Crystabel Altrade, who spoke to Today FM’S Preye Izogu, suggested that Extended Producer Responsibility should be used to solve the waste management crisis in the state.
Altrade also urged the new administration to carryout proper awareness campaign for the people of the state to manage waste properly.
On his part, a waste management enthusiast, Okeh Goodluck scored the past government of Nyesom Wike, low in the aspect of waste management in the state.
Goodluck further advised the incoming administration to appoint technocrats that will oversee the affairs of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency.
