The restriction of movement of persons and vehicles takes effect from Midnight tomorrow till 6PM on Saturday.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relation Officer, NNAMDI OMONI, noted that VIPs and Politicians are barred from going to any voting centre with their security escorts.
Such persons are also warned to desist from moving from one place to another on the Election Day, as provided under the Electoral Act.
The statement noted that the Police and other Security Agencies would be moving around to ensure that the orders are strictly complied with.
It also quoted the Acting Commissioner of police, DCP AHMED MAGAJI appealing for the continued support and cooperation of the members of the public in enforcing the order.
He said the aim is to provide an atmosphere conducive for the conduct of free, fair, credible and violence free Election that will stand the test of time.
