Eighteen police officers under the Rivers State Police Command have been promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police.
The Commissioner of Police, CHRIS EZIKE, while decorating the officers at a ceremony yesterday, charge them to see their promotion as a call for greater service. C.P. EZIKE challenged officers and men that are yet to be promoted to work harder and remain committed to duty. Some of the promoted police officers who spoke at the event promised to do their best in the service of the nation. Correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the new chief superintendents of police are to assume duty as Divisional Police Officers.
