The all-time leading goal scorer in Egypt who is now the coach of Al Masry football club was due to appear in court on Saturday.
However; his accuser decided to drop the charges ahead of the hearing of the case in connection with an incident after a league match last Friday.
Reports say the incident happened as players and officials from Al Masry and Ghazl Al Mahalla clashed after the two sides drew two-two.
